Thanks for the comments here. I just wanted to say that it took me WAY too long to figure out how to do (what I now know is) a “photo quote” like this. In the end, I opted for building a PowerPoint slide and created a jpeg out of it. I’m pleased with how it turned out even if my beard went grey in the process… Sigh.
Good advice.
Or as I have heard it said: If someone steals one of my ideas, I don’t let it bother me. There’s more where that came from.
That’s great, now to get there 🙂 It takes a lot of persistence. I would hope to do it in a faithful and not overbearing way too.
Amen! Pressure and time, pressure and time…
Cool.
I think so too!
Love it.
When I was an athlete competing in a sport where judges scored my performance my coach used to say, “If they’re being biases in their scoring, then do your skill so much better that they HAVE to give you a higher score.”
Don’t complain – just “be so good”.
Yes, it’s not necessarily what any of us wants to hear. We want a little technique or tactic that will make all the difference, but the reality is there is no replacing being good.
